I don't think he's been as bad as a lot of people make him out to be.

You'd love more TDs, and the offence to finish more drives, but 3,557 yards, 15 TDs to 9 INTs and a 94.5 QBR (all without his best offensive weapon for the year) isn't too shabby. It's certainly a fine baseline to build from. 

If he, or we find a guy that, improves on that we've got very good QB play in Charlotte.

In some ways this actually worries me. I mean tell me this wouldn't be so Panthers/Teddy right here. Panthers seem determined to win meaningless games. Teddy has screwed us over all year, why would he change that now?

He has 6 GWD in 49 career games.

3 of those came in 2014.

A GW drive is cool to aim for when you're a kid in your back yard. I wouldn't want to go into a game hoping for that scenario as a professional.

I do understand his point however.
