I think he has shown a hell of a lot more effort this season than last...and he's had turf toe. 

I'm all for him living up to his talk.  I hope he becomes elite....with some effort he has a shot.

Well his number one priority is covering people. If our dline and linebackers do their job we shouldn’t be asking him to make tons of tackles on running back.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't say that but I am willing to give him basically a pass on this season. Turf toe is fuging brutal. He should've been IR'ed a long time ago. I used to laugh about turf toe then I had it happen to me. My toe is still fuged up four years later. I've pretty much accepted that it'll probably never be right again, but I'm pushing 40.

The reclamation project seems to be on the right track, the fact that ppl can't really pile on him after every game seems to be a bummer to some folks who use professional athletes as punching bags, funny how that works

Sssh doesn’t follow the common huddle rhetoric. He’s still that guy that wouldn’t listen to Peanut and Boston a few years ago.

THAT is my concern about him. It isn't physical ability, it's coachability. Yeah dude, you're really fast. But you're undersized and you're coming off of an injury hampered year badly needing a rebound. If you're not willing to STFU and listen now then you can just GTFO.

He's good---and actually still improving---when he's healthy.

I don't think he has missed nearly as many tackles this season, and it seems like he's taking a lot better angles and not giving so much unnecessary cushion. He seems to be getting it!

Perhaps the coaching staff should get some credit also.

I was being sarcastic heh. I haven’t heard anything since his rookie year and that episode of All or Nothing about his attitude. I’m more positive about him than most here, I think he’s been good with flashes of really good. His reaction and tackling on bubble screens is usually elite. He whiffs occasionally but I don’t think it’s lack of desire to tackle or anything like some CBs (cough Eli Apple cough), it’s just he’s still learning.

I think he's running out of "learning" time. If he's coming into practice and meetings with the right attitude I hope the staff basically treats this as a medical redshirt year. If he hasn't, he should potentially be on the chopping block
