And honestly, I say that with zero glee. That fuging sucks for Kyle Trask. When his receiver corps opted out he should have too. He was a physically limited QB who put up stupid stats. He had absolutely nothing to prove tonight and he showed up anyway. Yeah, he looked bad but damn it he earned a fan in me anyway.

I disagree with this take, bowl are supposed to matter to the fans of the two teams competing. That literally is the purpose of those games. The rest of the general public caring is another story. But that generally waxes and wanes with the matchups involved. Bowl season is just one last bit of football before the long months of the offseason for fans. 

I have no issue with the bowls existing. They are fun for the fanbases who get to travel(often to warmer climates) to watch their teams play and to party in a different area. That's what the bowl games are. A fun exhibition game.

Yeah, he was making a ton of excuses last night after the game. 
 

Dan, newsflash. You gave up 55 points and over 430 yards on the ground. Those receivers would’ve helped but you were only missing 1 player on your front 7. Lol.
