Fields dropping in McShays draft

Honestly you could throw a dart at the Draft board and improve this team. We're so talent deficient.

I'll worry about a Draft / offseason being crucial when we have a good football team that's missing one or two key players.

That doesn’t make sense to me. If we can get our future QB it’s crucial. Period, end of story. We can continue to build because we do have more holes but we plug the important hole and other drafting becomes easier. When you only have one or two holes to fill that’s when you can trade up like the Chiefs or go hog wild in FA.

Why we didn’t try harder to lose last week is beyond me. Say you want to see if Grier should even be on the team. Try all backup OL since we have 1 OL under contract for only 1 year. Start as many backups as you can. The game doesn’t matter but evaluating players does. Ron really fuged us with his stubbornness as usual keeping a clearer awful Haskins in way too long. That and that punt return fumble.

Having pick 3 would be phenomenal. It wouldn’t take much to move up to 2 if the Jets didn’t want Fields and worst case you get Wilson if you like him or Sewell.

Since Houston and Atlanta lost before we played, the best we could have gotten was 5th. I don't know where you keep getting #3 from.

Half of Tampa's D is out tomorrow, so Atlanta could leapfrog us.

What he said. Lol, damn those late games since we didn’t lose first.

We have the lowest SOS of the 3. That’s why we were 4th ahead of Houston and Atlanta before last week. Houston actually jumped Atlanta but with 1 week left I think we had an insurmountable SOS difference since Tankathon already includes your week 17 opponents.

All we needed was Cincy to pull another upset and they did. We just flubbed the chance.

Since the teams that had to win to get us to move up had already played and lost, we were never at #3. At the very best, we would have stayed at 5.

Last week if we would have lost and Cinci had won we would have been #3. Cinci won but so did we.

You are completely wrong. You said the best we could have gotten was 5. We’d be sitting at 3 right now if we lost to Washington. That’s what people are saying. We’d win the tiebreaker with Atlanta and Houston (Miami has it). By beating Washington we went from #3 to #9 because we would win the 4 win club tiebreaker and we lose many of the 5 win club tiebreakers. We also jumped the 4 win 1 tie club.

We’d been talking all week that it was possibly that we could pass Cincy for #3 and Cincy won twice in a row and we (or really Rivera) fuged up and won.
