I read an article on how Howard completely revamped his lifestyle when he lost all that weight, didn't know he was pushing 30. I thought he was in his mid 20s.

The presence of Jim Thome delayed his arrival into the big leagues. Scary to think what his HR totals would be if he got in earlier.

Phillies opted out of Pedro Feliz for 2010 and are in the hunt for a 3rd baseman. Looks like Chone Figgins is on their radar which would make us that much more deadly on the bases. It would be like having 3 leadoff men in the 1,2,3 positions with Rollins, Victorino, and Figgins. Might as well give up now Braves........
