After this win and losing out on a top 3 draft pick, it looks like Teddy Bridgewater will be the starter next year

I dont see how winning today rules them out on taking a QB in the first round. I can see a scenario with the Jets sticking with Darnold now that he has won back to back games and they're no longer guaranteed no.1 pick. I would be happy with Lance at pick 9-12.

4 teams interested in a QB picking ahead of the Panthers right now and maybe more depending on what happens next week. They had a golden chance to pick at 3 today, and they played their way out of it. That hurts. All the top QB prospects will likely be gone before the Panthers pick.

Agreed!  If we don't draft a QB, this is exactly why I would try to trade for Stafford. His talent and arm strength with our 3 receivers and McCaffrey in this Joe Brady system would be lethal. Get Stafford, include Teddy on trade or look for another trade partner.

Nobody is trading for teddy. He’s one of the worst qbs in the league with a bad injury history.

I bet the Falcons draft Fields at 3, trade Matt Ryan to San Francisco to reunite with Shanahan, and Garropolo gets traded back to NE

The top QBs will be gone when we pick. We should have pulled the starters against the Skins. Now we're going to get a TE or something and get our asses kicked next season. We're screwed. Too many holes and Teddy can't take us anywhere. It's a wrap.

Panthers gonna Panther. They lose when the games matter then win when they don’t. No Panthers fan is happy about beating a sorry Ron Rivera garbage team. Love Ron as a dude but he’s always good to vomit up a garbage performance from his team a few times a year.

I'm still iffy on Lance, and unless Fields looks significantly better in his next game than he did in his last game I'd likely want to avoid him.

Anyone outside of Lawrence and Wilson would probably need to sit for a year anyway. I was hoping for Wilson but that’s definitely out the window now. Lance and Fields definitely need time in the bench before they’d be ready.

Does he suck?  Yes.  But the fact is that anyone who thinks this was going to be a quick turnaround is fooling themselves.

This coaching staff is legit.  If we don't take a QB in 2021, we still easily could in 2022.  

I know everyone is disappointed.  I am too.  But it ain't the end of the world.  A team with good coaches will always find a way.  And if we make the right choice at GM?  Sheesh... this team is gonna be built for the long-term.

Panthers gotta be the only team in the league where fans say "always next year" in regards to the season AND offseason.

I predicted that we would beat Washington, but I've never been so sorry about being right. This was the worst Panthers win I can remember. It killed our draft position and now we're stuck with Teddy, who will NEVER lead us to a SB. NEVER. We'll be 8-8ish now for a damn decade. Should have sat the starters against Wash. This is terrible.

But I won't lie. The thought of picking third overall in the draft sounded reeeeeeally good.

I wasn't cheering for Washington, more like dreading every screw up moron play they made. I was crushed by that win.
