How do you know its a "fluke"?  And now he is dealing with a quad issue.  We may have broken him.  How much would his contract be for now if we were negotiating it or do we just add on the 5th option and let him play it out?  But instead we did the idiotic move of paying him needlessly.

How many RBs have you seen with a shoulder sprain-separation type injury compared to knee or ankle injuries? I know because this is part of what I do, my guy.

Are you asking if running backs hurt their shoulder?  Not following you here

It was a rhetorical question. Running backs are far more likely to injure their knee or ankle relative to the type of shoulder injury CMC sustained. Hence the “fluke” as it doesn’t happen often and occurred on the last drive of the game to boot.

Gotcha.  But that is kindof my point.  If its a "fluke" injury then I have to think trotting him out for 95% of the snaps and giving him the ball 700 frigging times had to factor into it on some level.   I dont care how much he trains nobody can take that punishment and stevie wonder could see he was going to miss time in 2020.

Not debating the amount of snaps he gets equating to higher chance of injury. I’m just out here trying to set the bozos straight about him being “done.”

Having 3 separate injuries and only playing in 3 games this season could be an argument for the adverse.  I guess we will find out in 2021.

They continue to ignore QB for this waste of space that's throwing passes now, they'll be hurting. #6 is bad, you can work the O-Line all you want. Carolina has one of the better O-Lines in the NFL right now. An O-Line pick is moronic, if you don't have a Franchise QB. See Joe Thomas.

We have one of the better O lines in the NFL?? Your credibility is shot once again if it was ever there to begin with.

PFF says otherwise, and stats say that. But, hey. Let's ignore facts and logic and do "eye test." Please spare me your bull poo. Thanks.

Just goes to show you numbers can justify anything you want it to. Anyone who watched yesterday as our line got blown up all day can see that Moton is the only guy worth keeping. Plus a quick passing game getting the ball out makes the line appear better overall but the measure of a good line is can you run the ball when people expect you to run it or protect your QB on obvious passing downs. And if you have watched our games you know better.

Just goes to show you why PFF gets very mixed reviews. If you look at stats like sacks surrendered we are 19th giving up 2.2 sacks a game. But in the past 3 we gave up 3.7 and against Washington it was 4. Injuries? Yeah. But it also shows that beyond Okung for example we have no left tackle and our guard play has been very up and down. The measure of a good line is good depth behind the starters. We don't have that at all.

Your agenda is go quarterback at all costs so anything you say is deeply biased and skewed. I think that linemen should be a definite push in the draft no.matter who is at QB.

Absolutely Joe Thomas loved his career without a QB. It was great.

The body is like a chain. An injury in one area can lead to compensation in another area. It’s why bringing a guy back when he’s as close to 100% is so important. The quad issue is nearly undeniably related to the initial lower extremity injury earlier in the season and the shoulder as discussed was essentially a fluke.

CMC will be back next year and he will ball out at the RB and WR positions per usual. This time they’ll have multiple weapons to ease the burden if they’re smart about his utilization.

Is Houston taking a QB to replace Watson? No. Is Cincy taking a QB to replace Burrow? No. Chargers gonna replace Herbert? No. Philly with Wentz and Hurts?  Dallas and Dak?

Its pretty unreasonable to assume all 4 QBs will be gone by the time we pick. Lawrence we never had a shot at and Fields stock has dropped. Wilson has risen and Lance still has all the physical tools to be a beast. One will likely still be a Panther. We just may not have our pick of he litter now

It’s not just the teams in front of us that you have to worry about, there are plenty of teams behind us that need a QB also.

Are you willing to risk staying put?
