Maybe, but it could go sour quickly. Win today, then Packers win tonight wrapping up home field, Saints may rest starters next week giving us another win. Ending with 6 wins could really drop the pick

This is actually looking pretty likely which makes me even more sad

The only thing I can say is that all of this stuff is out of our control. Am I happy about dropping that far in the draft? No, not at all. But I can't do anything about it, getting pissed about it is pointless. Just enjoy the ride and don't get too emotionally invested. Hurricanes should be good and they start up in a couple weeks...

In retrospect neither player was the right choice and they should have picked Patrick Mahomes lol

We didn’t need a QB at the time though.  That’s just to show that you’re not always screwed when winning a meaningless game at the end of the season.

Cam was literally 1 year removed from being league MVP at the time. QB was never ever on the table for us at the time. And let's be real. Would Mahomes be anywhere near the player he is now if he was drafted by Rivera/Shula instead of Andy Reid? No chance.

I was just kidding they would have never picked Mahomes at the time. However Cam was coming off a serious throwing shoulder injury that offseason

Yep. Looking forward to hockey. At least there is lots of hope there and an obvious bright future.

I am actually pretty pumped about the hornets finally getting an exciting draft pick. So many high picks and so many awful players.

Eh....Ball is never amount to much most likely but this draft was pretty bad overall, so it is what it is. The media will like Ball and we will keep being mediocre.

This is my hope. I’m not so sure after the combine tho. Trey is going to impress a lot of teams.

He will. His game this year will hopefully keep him out of the top 5. If Fields plays bad against Clemson, he will drop also. It might be Lawrence, Wilson, and the two LTs with the first 4 picks.
