They'd still beat us with Hill. My only concern is if they rest multiple players. If they rest Kamara, Cam Jordan, Michael Thomas, etc. that would be concerning. I honestly don't think they will.

The play is to build a lead early then bench some players.

What are you basing this assumption on?  I agree, but I want to know if that has been stated yet---If Green Bay beats Tennessee, the Packers would win the head to head because they beat NO early on.  That would mean that the Saints will be playing for the third or fourth seed.  If Brees' ribs are still sore and they lost a player to an Achilles injury, it is possible that they risk a playoff seed and play Hill.  Cardinals or Bucs---as it stands now---is the difference---but it could mean home field later---so I dont know.

I think they need to because of Seattle's record. If GB got bounced early, keeping one up on Seattle would guarantee home field the rest of the playoffs. It's too close to take their foot off the gas.

If the stadium is only 25% full, does homefield really matter?  Maybe for Green Bay because no one but GB wants to play in Wisconsin in Jan.  But for the other teams, I am not sure it matters.

For those that do care about draft position, the Aints clinching today makes it more likely that Tampa has nothing to play for next week against the Falcons.  So maybe the Falcons win.

Most teams no... But think about these dome teams or anyone really having to go to Seattle or Green Bay(Seattle can be just as shitty in Jan if they catch the right day). It's all about the weather bonus now.

Don’t forget about Seattle

I have not, but they have the Rams Sunday and they give them fits.  Wonder how that changes things.  If Seattle and the Rams drop a game back behind New Orleans, who wins the tie breaker if the Saints lose week 17?
