Ohio State is hardly "Quarterback U"  I worry that they are all system QBs--but most have not fared well.  They scare me---you could say the same about Alabama, however. The days of Stabler, Starr, and Namath are gone.

Jones has the skillset to manage a game if given time to throw.  He is a late first or early second rounder---He has upside and could be a good NFL QB.

Reading up on Mac he has the tools to be successful but the main knock will always be does he look great because Alabama has a offensive roster loaded with NFL players?

This just underscores the fact that there will be other QBs who can play within this offense outside of the top 10. If we can get our next Jordan Gross in the top 10 we can still find a potential franchise QB in the second.

Everyone does, because a play breaking down is a very rare occurrence at Alabama this year.

In Jones' defense about the talent around him just remember Hurts vs Tua. Alabama's offense didn't really turn on until Tua started. Sure they got weapons, but at the end of the day someone needs to get them the ball. That is why I wouldn't worry if we draft him because we already have good weapons.

Draft is unpredictable. 
 

Metcalf dropped seemingly because he is too perfect looking, and he has been an absolute stud for Seattle. I can’t figure out the reasoning from some of these coaches and front offices.

Agree with @Montsta the draft is unpredictable.  Most of the time a top 10 talent will work out to be a very solid NFL player....QBs are always the riskiest. 

Jones is a capable QB, but boy would I love to have DeVonta Smith....that kid is pretty incredible and has made Jones look good on a number of occasions.
