Jax....horrible ownership and infrastructure. Same with the 49ers. Your Rams just hit the injury bug on offense and the defense got old at the same time. The Panthers have one of the youngest teams in the NFL with talent in their prime at most of the key positions. An owner who cares and facilities that are still in the top half of the league.

Boom.

First line is Panthers wins under Fox

Second is Falcons wins in the same period

Third is Bucs

Fourth is Saints.

Then you have the totals, the best year, the worst, and the average

07 11 07 11 08 07 12 | 63 | 12 | 07 | 09

09 05 11 08 07 04 11 | 55 | 11 | 04 | 08

12 07 05 11 04 09 09 | 57 | 12 | 04 | 08

09 08 08 03 10 07 08 | 53 | 10 | 03 | 08

One of these teams is more consistent than the others. Can you spot which one?

Great post.

A lot of people on this forum maintain Fox and his staff, past and present are incapable of developing a quarterback. And that in fact, Joe Flacco would have been a wasted pick based on that.

Surprise, surprise. John Fox said exactly the same thing the first year he was here. Now aren't we all smart?

FYI, Capers was not fired because the team's record was 4-12. He was fired because he had lost 100% total control of the team, coaches & players alike. He wanted out as much as JR wanted him gone. This year is nothing ... 1998 was a really ugly year. Most of the best action was on the Panthers' sideline. John Fox no how, no way has it going that badly.

And IMO Seifert's philosophy just didn't fit with Jerry Richardson's philosophy. JR is not a WCO man. Besides, George would rather be fishing.
