You cant cut Teddy until after year 2

Yes you can. You just don’t save all of his salary. You save $8M since he’s got a partial guarantee. Personally, I’d rather see if you can trade him as he’d only be $8M for the new team for 2021 or cut him and start Grier/PJ to basically see if either is worth keeping as a backup/trading and to take hits while the OL (we better draft a few) gels. You can do the same with Teddy I guess but he’s more expensive.

Not to mention last night's entire secondary for UCF were true freshmen.

It was not about the defense he was playing against, but the throws that he was making. I watched the time he took to make his reads and the passes. Did he take a lot of time to make the read then throw and with the timing how well did he place the ball?

The only criticism that I could make was when UCF stated pressuring him towards the end of the game. He did hang in the pocket too long and tried to find a open man instead of trying to escape the pressure. Was this because the game was practically over and wanted to add numbers to his stat line? I am not sure but that is the only thing that I saw and questioned.

Same thing he did while losing to Coastal Carolina. He did not handle pressure well the entire game against CCU; and if he had difficulties with a shitty D like UCF, I'd be concerned.

UCF may have the worst defense in college football.

Temper enthusiasm accordingly

They may be bad, but you can’t take away his placement on those throws last night. Had he thrown short routes all night and his WRs get a lot YAC, that would be different, but he was throwing 30 yard passes with ease on the run and with great placement. UCFs defense may be bad, but the rest of the teams he faced were not.

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
