So will we cut Teddy? Seems like all 3 of these guys should start right away....

Even if we get Trevor somehow I want him to sit at least half a season. We most likely are going to have some changes on the OL, give it 8 games to gel and get in sync and let Teddy take the beating before putting in the rookie. I think we could be a playoff team next year but we aren’t winning a SB. 2022 could be our year if we nail the draft this year (especially at QB)

Okay, I'm sold. I can absolutely see Wilson running Joe Brady's offense (or a similar offense if Brady moves on).

Durability concerns are still there given that he's already had a couple of surgeries, but that primarily means we've just gotta make sure we protect him.

And frankly, if we don't put enough into protecting the quarterback, it's really not gonna matter who we draft.

I think he played himself into the #2 pick if the Jets decide to take a QB. I have a feeling Panthers will need to trade up for their guy

Depends on how Justin Fields plays in his bowl game.

If it's not significantly better than he played in the last game, then yeah.

This.

How is Fields arm strength compared to Wilson's?  I haven't watched enough film on Fields to have an opinion.

From what I've seen, his arm strength is fine. That's not necessarily the issue.

In the Northwestern game, he was just off. His performance was so bad that the Buckeyes basically stopped passing.

He's gonna need to look really good in the playoffs to make up for that.

Against Clemson D.

Their LB (Slaski?) is right good. Maybe in the 3rd rd?

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
