His line did block. In fact he has one of the best lines in all of college football. And he’s played poo competition. For these reasons no way I’d want him at #4, it’d be a reach. Now bottom of the first....if that can be finagled, I’d take it.

I disagree. Full game from Wilson above. First few plays where he throws he was under quick pressure. He moved well in the pocket but didn't always hit. Looks like he was trying to play hero ball, that can be coached out. Kid has great arm talent, a quick release, and he can scoot.

I would not be upset at all if we drafted him.

Wasn’t one of his lines best games for sure, quite possibly their worst. But they weren’t bad. And as a whole for the year, they have been on of the best was my main point.

I do like his talent, just not sure about #4. I think if he’s the guys the Panthers can get him further down.

There is no justification Lawrence will be good, even with good building blocks around him. There are way too many people that think every top QB from college is going to do good in the NFL. The reality they aren't. Since the Mannings we haven't seen a top 5 QB win anything. Most good QB's are 11th+ to about mid 3rd.

This is an awful argument.  First of all, you have to define "anything".  Goff has been to a Super Bowl and won a ton of games.  Wentz got a ring, even though he didn't play in the game, but it's pretty darn likely he would have gotten one if he hadn't been injured.  Luck had injury issues, but was quite good.  Rivers and McNabb were quite good in their day.  We all hate on Matt Ryan because he's a Falcon, but he's a pretty good QB most of the time.  Cam Newton did everything but hand the trophy to Rivera / Shula in 15.

You also have to keep in mind that those high pick QB's like that are going to really bad teams in most cases.  How many of those T5 QB's went to the Jets / Bengals?  A LOT!

If you believe in a guy, and you think he'll be gone before your next pick, you take him.  It's that simple.

Inside sources say tepper is demanding we trade up for Lawrence.

I'm really hoping Lawrence pulls an Eli and goes public saying he will ONLY play for us.  It would go a long way in driving down NY and JAX's leverage, so if this was indeed the case, it may not be as costly.

How is Wilson's competition continually mentioned as a "negative", but everyone ignores the fact that Lance plays in a LOWER DIVISION.  I mean, talk about lower quality competition!

If you think he's your franchise QB, you don't risk it and you take him.

Rewatching that video showed me his accuracy deteriorated when he was pressured. That is an area of concern but not uncommon for most QBs. Will need to see more examples to see if this is a one game thing or if it's something he truly struggles with.

Dude threw an absolute Mahomes-esque throw around 4:50 running to the right and whipping it across his body 25 yards downfield to an open receiver. That kind of crap gets you excited.

Hate to break it to you, but Lawrence has already pretty much indicated that he'll play for whoever drafts him.

Yeah like I said yesterday, there are some well respected analyst that are comparing wilsons arm to Mahomes.  That makes me sit up and take notice
