Moose, who I love dearly, is MAYBE a 3 or 4 or 75% of other teams, when healthy.

Dewayne Jarrett is a certifiable bust. I wish that wasn't the case but it's not.

So that leaves Smitty. Just Smitty as your WR corp.

Jake has been as shaky as a kid on his first date in junior high school.

Lot's of rookies being played AND on the road against proly the best team in the league and someway, somehow you were in the game up to the last 2 mins or so.

To me, this is what's so frustrating about this season so far. Little tweaks here and there and some other looks/schemes/formations get another WR in there and who knows.

It really speaks volumes of the talent we have up front and the running backs we have. Not to mention we didn't have Hoover. We need him to help punch it in at the goal line.

I don't even think we need another receiver (or at least it remains to be seen). Moore and Barnidge seem like they can get good separation and neither have shown a proclivity for dropping passes. For that matter Jarrett has caught most of what's been thrown his way -- his problem is not one of execution, but playcalling.

This offense as a whole could really be something if they just played to some players' strengths.

Hence my new nickname for Dwill "Superman". Lets just hope a D can't find his kryptonite. BTW Jarrett is not a bust he missed on one pass Moose has many more drops this season so does Smith for that matter (uncharacteristically).

Cutler was not a matter of money, he cost the Bears org two #1 draft picks, a 3rd and Kyle Orton.

Way too much, the Broncos will have the last laugh on this trade.

I do have to point out that Cutler hasn't exactly been a superstar in Chicago. Better than Jake, but he has nearly as many interceptions. Had we given up what the Bears had to give up, the fanbase would be howling almost as bad as they are now.

The only reason I brought up Cutler is that at least he would have receivers here. He has Hester, a glorified return man and Olsen. Cutler would be playing much better here.

There are 2 quarterbacks in the NFL I would give up 2 first round picks a 3rd round pick and a servicable quarterback for. Neither of them are Jay Cutler.
