I never feel bad about people who suck at their job losing their jobs. I have worked for 29 different companies over the last 13-14 years at even more client sites. There is nothing worse than having a subordinate, co-worker, supervisor, manager, etc. who is completely incompetent. Everyone else around them either has to take blame for their fug ups or work harder because they are useless. 

No offense, but fug his job. Be better and people won't be glad you are gone.

This is the right move. I'm not even sure why he was retained after last year, we should of started fresh with a new gm when we hired Rhule.  This past draft could be his best ever, but to little to late. To many times he hits on his 1st rounder and nothing else and you can't build a team and aquire depth like that. Add it in bad contracts to aging players and underperformers and it was time to go.

Most people don't get severance packages when fired. Wonder if Hurney is getting one after his firing.
