I honestly think it was Little that sealed the deal. Just look at all the reports of ol’ Hurndawg wanting to draft him in round 1 if Burns weren’t there... then floating the idea of trading back into round 1 for him. Then actually wasting draft capital to trade up in round 2 for him. Then selecting Grier in round 3. Lol. Typing that out gave me ptsd. I know they were rumor mill reports, but when there’s that much smoke...
 

And just as Jimmy brought us Cam, if Little ended up being the final nail in the coffin, then the pick was 100000% worth it.

I'm sure GM's are like coaches too, his contract runs through June so he'll still get paid. Not going to feel sorry for a millionaire, especially with all of the layoffs that happened to the real workers of the organization.

Sucks for Marty and he seems like a decent guy, but this happens to tons of people and Marty has made millions to not do a very good job. He'll be fine
