12 Takeaways from the loss

I think this says it all about Bridgewater and the coaches

Teddy Bridgewater really blew it
The problems began at the quarterback position, where Teddy Bridgewater is officially on tilt. Teddy made the unforgivable sin of fumbling at the goal line twice, tonight. One was recovered by the Packers and another was called back due to a penalty. Bridgewater's poor ball security and decision-making should finally get him benched in favor of P.J. Walker.

The Panthers coaches were out of their league

Perhaps the most troubling aspect of this particular defeat was how outclassed Carolina's coaching staff was. Joe Brady's playcalling was atrocious at times, most notably the failed trick play involving Brandon Zylstra. Phil Snow's defense rebounded from a bad first half but still remains pretty flawed. Finally, Matt Rhule's curious late field goal call was baffling to say the least.

panthers coaches adjusted and shut down rodgers in the 2nd half

wtf is this person talking about

worry more about making sense and less about clickbait poo that requires 25 pages to read each blurb

I wouldn't say they were outcoached. They clearly won the adjustment game the second half.

All of these

That guy is clueless.  But if the optics suggest that Brady is not ready then good. I think he will only get better and I don't want to lose him for a few more years.

I would say the win and loss record suggests he isn’ all that. His red zone calls and his calls on second down approach Mike Shula level

he was a passing game coordinator....did he ever call plays by himself as an OC on any level

With better talent (including a healthy CMC) I think our RZ play calling will get better. Right now, we are where we are.

They lost by 8 on the road to one of the best teams in the league because they were quite soft against the run and TB fumbled away a likely TD . Rogers was kept in check in the passing game.

The issues  in this game were related to Teddy's deficiencies and a young defense. Not sure there's any merit to the strong coaching criticisms.

Don’t disagree however Green Bay took the pedal off the metal it seemed to me after they got ahead

adjustments on defense are great at halftime, by then the numbers of yards rushing it was a little too late

I think there was merit to the coaching criticism. We have HC Rhule under contract for  a substantial length of time but if he goes to round 1 and doesn’t come away with a QB1, it’s gonna be mighty hard to sell tickets for the Panthers or make a case for a new stadium

I also feel, based on performance against tougher competition,  Brady is the most over rated hire I’ve seen.  Yes, he doesn’t have CMC but he also has two, actually three, WRs. How many times was there a deep route to Anderson ?
