I'm more than okay with Lance, Wilson, or Fields if he drops. Jags are the only team that's a threat to draft a qb not named Lawrence ahead of us and we could easily trade up 2 or 3 spots to snag whoever. Or just stay put. 

But it's looking more and more likely it's going to be a QB we just don't know exactly who at this point. 

(All assuming we lose out. I could see us beating Football team if Alex smith doesn't start or the Saints if they rest their starters).

He is rising boards---I dunno.  His stats are not that great, but I do not know the circumstances in Cincy.  I need to look at him more. 

The guy nobody is saying much about is Mac Jones--He is not the athlete the others are, and that may be why he is sitting there in round 2...but he puts the ball on the money.  He has a great OL and unreal WRs---No QB has all that at once---but he does.  A stud LT, 3 WRs who will be NFL stars, a good center---jeez.  SO how good is he?  He is a bit one-dimensional, and Bama QBs tend to disappear in the NFL   But I think, in the right situation, he can be very good. 

Right now, everyone wants to talk about Wilson or Trask or Lance.  Do not forget Jones.

I think we will hear much more about the shoulder thing in Feb / March.  It is a factor.

Bottom line?   Watch us beat Washington and then the Saints have another meaningless game vs. Carolina.   Aside from that, it is a good year to need a qb.  I think there are 5-6 who will be drafted in the top 50 picks-maybe first round--of those, maybe 3 will be successful, according to NFL history.

I cant say I agree. I’m a UNC fan so Im biased but I would 100% take Sam Howell over every QB in this draft except Lawrence. Did you watch Fields yesterday? He was awful and has been awful each time OSU played a good team. If he is the 2nd best QB in the draft then this class isnt that great.

Zach Wilson has amazing arm talent but I always am hesitant to fall in love with QBs that dont play for a Power 5 team

I feel your pain brother.  Watching TB is so painful.

It drives me crazy that all the talking heads on TV make him out to be such a great QB.   His one and only down field pass completed to Moore had more to do with Moore making a great play.  No Zip and looked like a floating duck.

I am going to laugh so hard at the melt down when they pick a LB or an OT nobody has ever heard of.  

Or better yet, trade down, then trade back up for a LB.  Draft night is going to be a hoot.
