They wouldn’t. Unless we offer our first and second this year,  next year and maybe another first after that they aren’t going to trade away the spot for Lawrence.

They wouldn't bite on pure picks.

No 2024 pick, but instead CMC, they might bite. This place would flip out though.

Its amazing to see people believe one QB can lead a team to wins without a average OL and TEs.

Ive been meaning to ask the "DRAFT QB" crew to name one , just one QB that had a playoff run without a decent OL.....

Im going to start asking and again they will not answer.

Denver’s OL was bad to OK when Peyton went to SBs. Russell Wilson has been playing for years with mediocre OLs. Dallas had the best OL for many years and won 1 playoff game. A great OL doesn’t hurt but Lawrence would lead this current team to the playoffs. Teddy and his meh play has kept us in games that Lawrence would win by attempting and making those throws that Teddy couldn’t.

This. And as good as Lawrence is, this would cripple us.

Actually, it wouldn’t cripple us, but the only hope we have is if he says he won’t play for the Jets. If I’m the Jets I don’t trade out for anything if he’s willing to play there.

He'd be worth almost any trade but I can't see :

A) Panthers trading the farm to get him

B) Jets being willing to not select a generational QB when they've been struggling to find one for decades

If they were serious about getting Lawrence they wouldn't have signed Teddy and just started Grier all season .

Wilson has been playing YEARS with maybe the worst OL, thanks for the answer. That Bronco team had one of the best all-timer Ds, i hate to admit Russ Wilson is one of the best to QB in this league. Where do you rank the the 4 QBs and Sewell and whomever. Who are your top five for this panther team?

That's a bit of a cope out the Seahawks had a top 5 defense and the legion of boom (yes it matters more they gave up less than 15 ppg average his first three years)

During the early years Wilson had both the best defense and the best running game, around year 6-9 in his era, he played with a AWFUL OL(like 32 out of 32). They had DTs playing as OGs, with that former raider coach as OL coach (Tom Cable?). Plus during that time he never had a great WR, lockett was "ok" and DJ is in his second year. He is beyond the luckiest QB, but hes a legit HOF..... that hurts but its the truth.

No doubt, Just saying it's much easier to win when you only need to score 16 points....

Cam Newton?

That O-Line we had in 15 was terrible. And got exposed in the big game.
