I've said elsewhere I think Bridgewater is worn down.

Regardless, right now our starter is backup quality and our backups are number three quality. We don't have good options.

If you want to throw somebody out there just for the hell of it, I'm fine with it but unless he changes his mind from his previous comments, it doesn't sound like Matt Rhule is.

He's not worn down, this is who he is. This is what he offers as an NFL QB. He's had success in spurts until teams get film on him. You're not read to truly commit all your defensive focus on ten yards of field I til you've gotten enough film on a guy to realize that he's truly unwilling and/or unable to effectively throw deeper than that.

Yeah, I've been at the point of throwing one of the other guys out there, as you know...  because it serves no purpose keeping Teddy out there, knowing he's not a starter in this league..  i want to see more of the other guys and if they're worth keeping on the roster next season.

But, as you alluded to, I have no doubt Rhule is sticking with Teddy especially after the debacle last week going public...  and then there is also the point of knowing Teddy is bad and keeping him out there so we can keep losing as a necessary evil to draft a guy we want to replace him.

It's not hyperbole when there is no proof that it's true. Probably true, perhaps, but zero proof definitively supporting such statements. Walker looked pretty good in his start.

Walker can throw the ball farther/harder etc, but that's not enough to make him a better quarterback.
