While its cool for our egos to be right about having not wanting to sign him and knowing exactly who he was, I can't find any solace in it.  This team legitimately could've won 8+ games with competent QB play.  I'd be so much more content if he had proved us wrong, or if they had played someone who could win games, but alas, here we are.  Teddy is almost single-handedly responsible for 6 of our 8 losses, and about to be 7 of our 9.  Dude is horrible and I wish our franchise hadn't made this mistake...  I dont give a poo about being right when it comes at the expense of our team losing and wasting another year of our lives pulling for them while they do it.  Smh...  this sucks.

It is what it is at this point. All you can do is just laugh at this point. I would've liked to be wrong, but I'm not going to be sad for something I saw coming.

Newton's performance this year has pretty much cemented that letting him go was a valid decision.

Doesn't mean we're better, of course. We're obviously a very bad team.

Possibly, but it would have been alot better for both sides. We have talent with our receivers, and I believe he would have done better here than NE.

And if he stunk, we let him go, instead we have a 63 mil dollar poo qb

If you think there's nobody out there calling Aaron Rodgers a dick, you definitely need to look around more. He's considered one of the most easily dislikable people in the NFL. And as mentioned, even his own family doesn't like him.

He's also just that damn good, in the conversation for one of the best ever, so anybody that's talking about him as a player is gonna acknowledge that.

As far as behavior, I prefer the old 49ers approach of just handing the ball to the ref myself. But it's also true that if a team is showing off, the best way to stop them is to beat them.

Nobody around the NFL considers Rodgers to be dislikable. That perception is only there because of the family stuff, and while I don't know much about that situation, from the little I have seen from Aaron's brother, Aaron may very well be in the right in that conflict.
