Which statement holds true?

Football is a true team sport. Baseball a pitchers can change the game/series, and basketball 3 stars and scrubs can win it all. Goalie in hockey etc etc.

QB without a stable OL, street WRs, Thomas TEs, or terrible RBs is pointless. Panthers need a huge dose of talent, no matter what Rhule has done. Draft talent.

We had Jake with a franchise LT (Gross) and the kicker cost us a Super Bowl in which we we heavy underdogs.

We had Cam (franchise QB) with Remmers (RT) and the RT cost us the Super Bowl in which we were pretty heavy favorites.

Just 2 examples, but both support the "franchise LT" position in our case.  Secondly--hypothetically--how good would we have been with Gross (in his prime) and Cam?  How good would Jake have been with Matt Kalil at LT?

Regardless of which you think is more important, there is the sequence of putting pieces in place that must also be considered.  Do you install your franchise QB before your OL is in tact?  Isn't that like buying a Lamborghini before you build the garage?

Like buying a Lambo without insurance...and every day it rains bowling balls from the sky.

It all depends on how high you rank the qb prospects available when you draft. We need to build our OL. If Sewell is there by some miracle, and you have doubts about Wilson, Lance, Trask whoever, then the pick has to be Sewell. We could be realistically be looking at Paradis being the best offensive lineman we have starting next year. That is freaking terrifying. No QB is going to develop when they have less than a second before the defense is in their face. You can ruin a franchise QB behind our line.
