 If Teddy needs a player on the field to make him not suck Teddy is still not a good QB. In fact that is a even bigger indictment against his ability to be a successful franchise player. Teddy not having CMC has shown us more than we need to know.

Theres this thing in the NFL called the "Franchise Tag".  It tips the scales in the franchises favor.

 

It was incredibly stupid to give him an extension after 3 seasons.  There is no debate about that

Yes there is.

Plenty of people (and not just Huddlers) disagree with that notion.

If this year turns out to be an aberration and he returns to form in seasons to come, nobody's gonna care that he was hurt this year.
