Lsst 3 Games

Each of these games are against playoff teams.

Green Bay is in the drivers seat for #1 seed so they won't be taking us lightly.  Plus it is in Green Bay.   If we have CMC it could make things interesting because Green Bay has very little tape on CMC under Brady.  I don't think it will be a blowout but I do think we'll end up losing this game.

Washington has the chance to have a winning record and are playing good football.  This will be a big game for Chinn and Chase Young.  Both are probably the top two in the running for DROY.

New Orleans will not be taking our game off.  The only way I see them tanking the final game is if they lose against KC but I don't see that happening either.   If Brees comes back for the playoffs we are going to be the "Get the Rust off" game.

I do believe we will be competitive but we'll have to error free to win any of these games.

The Packers game has the potential to be painful.

Hell, the last time we played them the game turned on a terrible penalty call.

Earlier in the year I thought we might have a chance because their defense wasn't so hot.  Lately they've been balling.

We'll score but I don't think it will be enough.

Don't underestimate Paytons want to fug us over. If they are out of position for number one and are a solid lock on 2-3(Most likely), I could see them using it as a third preseason game and throwing it at the end if we are looking at a good draft spot.

Rodgers against our defense scares the hell out of me.

If they have anything whatsoever to play for, there's no way I can see that happening.

If CMC plays, I see the Huddle having a conniption.

And yeah, I think you're crazy.

Trap game my dudes.

Plus it would screw us out of getting a higher pick and taking a QB which is right in line with how things are going this year.

We have found a way to be in every game we have lost this year except for the Bucs.  Without CMC for the most part.  We get Kerr and Moore back for this game and maybe Daley (idk).  It would not shock me if we found a way to be up by at least a TD in the 4th quarter.  If we can hold it or not is another question but it is not as crazy as you think.

That'd be a trap worthy of Jigsaw.

Honestly, I'm just hoping Aaron Rodgers doesn't set records against our defense.

    • Philly's defense is great and they run the ball a lot and control the TOP (and they certainly will vs us - this is a big mismatch), so even if Bryce is at his best, I doubt he would have a chance to crack 300 passing yards.  Be damn impressive if he does though, but it all just depends on volume, efficiency, and most importantly... not turning the ball over.
    • Even with Cam I don't think it would have been a hard sell. He always loomed larger than life, but most people that understand football understand the reality of the game. One wrong hit, one wrong step, and a career can be over. It's the thing I've been frustrated about most with every GM we've ever had, including Morgan to this point. We never really developed the QB room. We relied on our starters and when Jake and Cam fell apart, so did the franchise. That's the one position that you can't really afford not to develop a plan B, but we do it with regularity. Dalton wasn't supposed to be a serious threat to Bryce's job and Jack was never a threat to be anything at all. JMO, but we should always have a young guy we're trying to keep on the bench with at least 2 years in the system. If they're not getting it, move on, but always keep rotating guys through. It seems like 2-3 years really is the magic point for QBs to either get a handle or not. It's probably not going to happen, but I'd really like to see that 3rd QB emergency slot become a permanent place to work on developing young QBs. I think it could benefit every team in the league because it's so hard to carry 3 QBs on the roster with all the turn over during the season due to injuries.
    • Agreed which is why I mentioned it and framed it as being certainly an eat crow moment for a lot of people myself included. I'd love to see him shock the league like that. I think the direction the conversation went immediately after is a prime example of how the topic of Bryce Young in general has become so bitter and contentious. The fanbase is split between people who want to see him look like a first overall pick over the course of multiple starts and not just against inferior defenses and people who apparently have low expectations and are just fine with him not looking horrific. But that's not how the NFL works and that's not why we drafted him.
