Matt Rhule said that miscommunication before the 2 minute warning vs. the Broncos was Teddy understanding what he heard from Joe Brady one way (to run the play), but Rhule intended it another way (to not run the play). 

Rhule takes blame for that.

He may not have run the wrong route. At 4-5 yards you are still in the contact area. I’d have to watch it again but he may have been hit or impeded and was crossing at less depth because of the D. DBs can get WRs off the route. That said Samuel was likely just about clearing out for the down field routes the ones actually capable of a first down.

So on Sunday he didn't say if they told him, on Monday he said they did tell him and now today they told him wrong.

Yeah, they gotta work on that.
