Teddy disobeyed Rhule

Captain Morgan

Recommended Posts

There have been concerning signs in recent weeks that Teddy has let the organization's "coach speak" about him being a franchise QB go to his head. First there was the whole "the play should've come in earlier" deal where he admitted he would've checked out of a play that got Moore wide open in the endzone and into a run and now this. Makes me wonder if he'll actually be the good veteran mentor that we expect when/if we take a QB prospect early in this year's draft (which looks increasingly likely). If things continue down this path, I don't think it's out of the question that Teddy's tenure is one and done in Carolina.

I doubt Brady was yelling, but Rhule did clarify today that they had let him know.

Ya, i'm not buying that at all. The mic was never in cutoff territory. If they really didn't want him to snap it Brady or who ever calls the play into the helmet had plenty of time to make that clear.

In fact far more likely they did want him to snap it to get that extra long clock stoppage, preferably on a first down. It didn't work out and here we are.

On what play was TB5 and Sam Franklin on the field at the same time?

I'm not sure that's Bridgewater.

Number 46 is Denver's long snapper. That would indicate this is a special teams play (probably a punt return). Franklin being there would make sense, but Bridgewater wouldn't.

I'm gonna guess whoever supplied the picture for that particular tweet made a mistake.

Do something like that with some other coaches and your ass is grass.

Doesn't really sound like anything's going to happen here though.

I'm up in the air on whether that's a good thing or not.

His ass has always been grass, it is just a question of when the grass gets cut

Meh I don’t care enough to bench him because teddy is leading this tank. We cannot win another game. Keep starting him and draft his replacement.

Any other time I’d say bench/cut. It’s incredible to me how much teddy is shifting blame/going against orders for his shitty play. I thought teddy was suppose to be this awesome teammate, high character dude. I dunno if it’s the pressure or what but these are really shitty things to say/do and not what you want in your starting qb. Teammates take note of this stuff.

The only thing I worry about is I thought Teddy would start next year, and let the Rookie learn.

Sadly, I'm not sure we can do that with Teddy now. He's been so shitty, and he's not even listening to coaching now. Weird poo man.

They'd damn well better get us a new QB or there will be a fan revolt.

It's not as embarrassing as it should be because BofA is closed.

I don't think 70000 people are going to pay for turd QB play. The empty seats would show the apathy.

Thanks to getting banned on teh huddle I took a step back and have only watched one game. It's exactly what I said when we made that boneheaded move.

Your now PAYING TB to do what Will Grier could have done, at a premium. Lol. Great business.
