Teddy disobeyed Rhule

That's different than what Rhule was saying yesterday.

If that's the case, then yeah Bridgewater is at fault.

And frankly, that's the kind of thing that gets you in major hot water with your coach.

Rhule’s interview today implied that when questioned at the beginning

at the end of the interview when asked about again, he backed down from blaming Teddy and said the OC, the position coach and himself was to blame not just Teddy

you know how Rhule is

teddy should have known better regardless. Saying he saw the defense milling around and thinking he could catch them, is a bit ridiculous on Teddys part

A lot of coaches would.

I probably would.

It doesn't sound like Rhule will.

This team is about to fall apart if there is dissent between Bridgewater and Rhule/Brady and they keep starting him. Through all ups and downs of the Rivera/Cam era, there never seemed to be dissent between Cam and Ron.

Disagree on the last part. A lot of big plays are made by catching a defense off guard.

Not this time, though. Poor execution.

"We asked him not to" is far from a 'direct order.' If the OC and/or HC phrased this in such a way Teddy B. felt as though this was his decision to make, then this team has problems beyond QB.

Regardless, on 3rd and 8 with the game on the line, 2 plays to get those 8 yards, and the 2-minute warning staring you in the face, hurrying and running a play is one, if not the absolute worst decision a QB can make.

He was hoping to complete two 4 yard passes.

I did not agree with the call either.   When you rush you make mistakes.

Could you imagine Lock with this team.  He loves throwing the deep ball.  We'd probably be leading the league in explosive plays.

Also seems Samuel ran the wrong route.

I find that a little concerning this late in the season.

Even if true that's still well short of the marker and in that situation I don't feel you can count on notable YAC. Doesn't make it any better overall.or really for Teddy, as it's clearly nowhere near where it needs to be.

Thing is, even if we do draft a quarterback with our top pick next year, we're likely still tied to Bridgewater for next season.

So yeah, this could potentially turn into a real briar patch. I'm hoping that Rhule keeps it under control though.

Nope. It just sort of adds to the suck.

Do something like that with some other coaches and your ass is grass.

Doesn't really sound like anything's going to happen here though.

I'm up in the air on whether that's a good thing or not.

Peyton Manning can get away with that. Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Brees and maybe 1 or 2 other guys in the league. Teddy B. is not among that group.
