Teddy disobeyed Rhule

On running a play yesterday before the two-minute warning, Rhule says: "Teddy made a decision to want to play when we asked him not to" and the third and fourth down plays are not the kind of football he wants to be a part of.

Matt Rhule said Teddy Bridgewater made a decision to run a play before the two-minute warning "when we asked him not to.'' He saw what Bridgewater did, but reminded it didn't follow chain of command.

On the fourth down play, Rhule said Curtis Samuel was supposed to be run at 4-5 yards, but that Teddy also should have thrown it past the sticks.

Until we have his replacement I will continue to be worried we will keep Teddy and the mediocrity will continue. I hope the coaching staff is just talking and the evaluation on his replacement has begun.

I don't know if anyone feels the same way but I have never felt such an extreme dislike for a player that is on our team like I feel toward Bridgewater. I would say it is equivalent to how I feel about players like Talib. People say he is likeable but I find him very unlikeable.

Please coaching staff do the right thing and know he is limiting the potentially very good offense. Even with our offensive line I really believe a somewhat better QB could be the answer to the offensive struggles. Lock was the better QB yesterday and actually looked like the OB the Broncos want him to be.

Too many times this season I felt Teddy was trying too hard to be Peyton Manning before the snap. I'm also surprised he has this level of autonomy of the offense already, but based on this report, it sounds like he's gone rogue. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the first time he's disobeyed the chain of command.

This is terribly concerning. Teddy just showcased to the whole team that he could give two sh!ts what the coaches say. It makes one wonder what has been going on all season concerning his play. Have the coaches been trying to get him to push the ball down the field, but he does what he thinks is best? I think the answer is apparent given PJ’s start.

If the Panthers do draft a QB, I’m not sure I want Teddy “mentoring” him.

Teddy is a clown. The past two weeks have shown that. 2 weeks ago he throws his teammates under the bus when he misses a wide open DJ Moore in the end zone. This week he disobeys direct orders and makes 2 awful plays. This guy needs to be cut immediately.

the experiment failed. No need to just waste another year with this inept QB.0

"We asked him not to" is far from a 'direct order.' If the OC and/or HC phrased this in such a way Teddy B. felt as though this was his decision to make, then this team has problems beyond QB.

Regardless, on 3rd and 8 with the game on the line, 2 plays to get those 8 yards, and the 2-minute warning staring you in the face, hurrying and running a play is one, if not the absolute worst decision a QB can make.

That's different than what Rhule was saying yesterday.

If that's the case, then yeah Bridgewater is at fault.

And frankly, that's the kind of thing that gets you in major hot water with your coach.

I believe Rhule is lying through his teeth. Either he or brady told Teddy to run that play.
