They only need one more win than us. 49ers aren’t playing well. Giants played poorly. Even the Eagles is winnable. We’ve seen first hand how a QB can come in and get a start and win. We did it with Teddy. We saw it with Kyle Allen. We saw it with PJ. Hurts did some things well but he barely completed half his passes and he fumbled the ball late when the game should have been over. He also had a pick 6 dropped near the sideline.

The caught the Saints by surprise but other teams will be able to prepare better.

If Hurts falls back to earth, I could understand. I'd be really hesitant to pick the Cowboys over the Eagles right now though.

Doesn't matter anyways as those teams have their QBs and won't be drafting another

But they could be lookin to trade down with a team that does need one. Sure its a long shot but you never know if a team below us really falls in love with one.

Lawrence is the #1 pick no doubt, but if we get to #4 is there any chance the Jags pass on Fields? Who could they potentially consider taking instead?

Wilson or Lance if they fall in love with one. Or maybe Minshew balls out and they decide to go with Sewell at LT. The Bengals could go for something else since they have Burrow.

Bengals won’t take a QB even after the Burrow injury. They are invested in him for a few years to come. Sadly I just don’t see us getting Fields but as you say, maybe Jags fall in love with the upside of Lance. Or take Sewell before the Bengals get the chance.

Funny enough to combine this with the Washington thread abotu Rivera it's the Washington Football Team that we will probably beat to fug our Draft Position....Alex Smith got hurt and they have a bleh offense but a good defense...that'd be how it goes and you know it lol

It is so unbelievably sad to see how "fans" are rooting for their team to lose games......  Look where #1 draft pick of last years took "his team".  I am more worried about the team as a whole right now than I am about whether or not we pick at #4, #6, or #8.  No drafted QB will make this team much better than it is right now if things are not changing at all other levels.

Yeah, I know.  But it gives the fans a reason to be actively involved--if they think losing now equates to winning later.   Going 6-10 does not instill hope, but a new QB does.
