I think it depends on what rookie QB is available to us. Eventhough a rookie QB may have a higher ceiling, he may not be better than TB right now, so he'd need to sit. TB will be better with better blocking from the o-line and better defensive play.

Meh probably end up being something like what happened in Miami. 4-12 guy starts the season, team shows potential, and rookie comes in around week 4 or 5.

Is the plan to draft a QB and use Teddy's second year to let the rookie sit and learn? Teppers is a long term guy and that is definitely a long term plan. 

It 100% should be and is the only good explanation for signing Teddy (still doesn't make it a good signing). I'm a huge fan of letting a rookie QB sit for a year before starting so really hoping this has been the plan all along. And Teddy is one of the QBs I would most want to be mentoring/teaching a young QB. Super high character guy like an Alex Smith who will absolutely do what's best for the team and help the rook learn while knowing he's a lame duck QB.

I actually meant that for the GameDay thread lol, but no, I don't think they're fixing the game for them, I just think they generally don't like us, and many officials have a personal affinity for the Broncos for some reason.

I'm going to disagree. Teddy the p****, but he's a smart p****. Any QB coming out of college needs to learn to take what the defense gives you. Teddy's problem, is that he is too eager to take what the defense gives you instead of nutting up and trying to win.

Rhule better be quick with that shepherds hook next year. I can tolerate two or three more games of teddy but that first round QB better be ready to go as soon as teddy yet again confirms who is he next year. ‘22 is way too far away to be done seeing teddy on the field.
