I think it was 7 or 8 TBH. It was just like this year. The teams we finished 1 win behind (due to Saints wins) were the ones with a worse SOS (for tiebreaker) meaning we would have jumped a bunch and the teams we ended up tying with had better SOS so we got a double whammy. This year is exactly the same, we are actually at the top of the 4 win teams and would be at the bottom of the 5 win teams.

For the folks that say we still got Burns, yes we did and it took a lot of luck and bad picks, but the actual cost was that we lost our good 3rd round pick because we had to move up to get Little. Also, we had a private workout with Maxx Crosby. He went 9 picks before Miller. Maybe we do something smart knowing how close he would have been and gotten Crosby. Maybe we take Crosby instead of Grier because we think Grier lasts to 107. Who knows, but those 7-8 slots absolutely cost us some potential talent. Saints won that.
