DOES IT LOOK ANY DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER WEEK? this team has stopped evolving. It starts with tepper at the top.

some of the miscues yeah.

we’re a bad team. I’m not trying to place blame on the weird week solely like we’re actually a good team. Our main problem arguably is Teddy. There is no evolving that. He’s so risk averse that I can’t put blame on Brady or the coaches besides the fact that they wanted him here and should’ve known better. The rest of this team is young and going through growing pains. Same with the coaching.

There are benefits to throwing the ball beyond the sticks on 3rd down. Even if you don't complete the pass sometimes you get bailed out by a flag.

That's true of any pass though, all of those potential penalties are automatic first downs.

Newton didn't want to be here.

Watch that video on the Panthers YT channel, where the assistant hands Rhule the video of Newton's IG post - about disrespect or whatever.

Rhule is a poker player, but it was written all over his face that he didn't want such a disruptive character on his team.

I fully think that if herbert was there he would have been the pick. Cam for how incredible he was for us just wouldn't of taken the picking of a new first round QB very well and would have very well divided the locker room. Rule and company know teddy is a very quiet and high character guy who wouldn't mind being a bridge to our young draft pick. Teddy got 3 years just in case herbert wasn't there and we would still have him to mentor our new QB in 2021.

Not at $20m a year he's not.

We won't but I'd be open to releasing him to save $8M. I think $13M of his $21M next year is guaranteed so you would still save $8M if he's gone.

I do not want any rookie QB learning what to do from Teddy.
