Is Zach Wilson becoming the consensus Huddle pick?

Thats something I overlooked while preaching about the future OL. I do like to picking form plentiful pools...

2020 draft was the bees knees when it came to offensive tackles.  Again I like brown but as far as rarity of finding and needing NFL players its qbs-left tackles-----------way down the line defensive tackles

I get what you're saying, but that might not exactly be the best example to throw out there.

Only if you expect a rookie QB to win it all the first year.

We’ll see what happens with him and his leg, but if he’s their QB for the next 8 years, will anyone look back and say they should have drafted a left tackle?

The Bengals drafted a LT the year prior, he just got hurt in training camp

That injury was nasty.

If it does wind up affecting him, a lot of people are going to be talking about that.

I believe each first since 2015(?) has gotten injured during their rookie year, poor cat-bro fans.

I got to think more on 2022 draft class, hell they can change big time by then. I remember Burrow was 6th rounder at the start of the 2020 season. Hes the rare extreme case tho.

I think we're in a very good spot to get the $3 B prospect off the board. I just hope that in hindsight we can look back and say that the Jags choose poorly.

I hope you are right, but I have my doubts.  I'll be nervous at 6, and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if that puts us drafting QB4.

Tankathon | 2021 NFL Draft Order

Jets - Trevor

Jags- QB2

Bengals- Sewell

Chargers- non-QB or trade down

Cowboys- QB, non -QB or trade down

Panthers-

I think all of us agree that a QB is probably going 1 and 2.  Sewell to Bengals makes way too much sense, but both the Chargers and Cowboys could easily trade down.  In theory Cowboys could even go QB but I think the cowboys are a perfect trade down candidate.  Chase makes sense for the Chargers with Herbert, but there is also Smith at WR so they could trade down and get one of the two.  That leaves Parsons at the best player available for cowboys but they have recently spent high picks on LBs so they might look to trade down and go CB or WR.

Also, if there are really some teams that have Wilson #2 on their board that means there are teams with really high grades on both him and Fields and that just increases the chance someone trades up.

I'm afraid if we want QB3 we need to get to 4, either in the standings or trading up.

I think we have a good chance of ending up at #4. The Chargers and Cowboys play some sorry teams. I think they'll slip up and win another game. I see us sticking with 4 wins.

I hope you are right because at 4 we would really be sitting pretty for several options. We could possibly move up or stay and get who we want.

Cisco is definitely a guy on my radar. He's the type of rangy safety the modern NFL necessitates. He needs some work, but if he didn't he'd be a 1st round lock with his physical traits.

Agree. I like him and Trevon Moehrig as safeties who are like day 2 or early day 3 and would upgrade Tre Boston and bring much needed actual talent to the back end. It'd be a real nice thing to be able to take away the middle of the field while also having three great players up front, which we might have eventually. I think they hit on at least five guys in this past draft and adding a guy like this along with an upgrade at QB or Sewell/Parsons in the first round would check a lot of boxes.
