Gregory Rousseau sitting out this year hurt him a little.  He was always projected off his upside.  Dont think anyone has him edge 1 anymore, thats actually Payne.  In fact, I know a few people who are higher on the Phillips traslnsfer kid now who has stepped in his place.  The Penn State kid is a FREAK who is going to shoot up based off his combine.

As a Canes fan I can tell you that Rousseau is better, although both could go in the first round (I hope Phillips doesn't declare, but he will).

Rousseau sitting out is like Lance missing the season - you're judging him off athleticism and one exceptional season. Albeit Rousseau did it against the big boys and Lance did it against erm....

Ken O’Brien and Tony Eason. Neither on the other 3s level but for 5 QBs in round 1, both were multi-year starters so overall the best 1st round QBs. Manning/Rivers/Roethliberger would be 2nd. This year could be another one like those. Maybe not, but some definite high end talent and maybe another couple come through as well.

Rivers won a grand total of 5 playoff games in 16 years, 14 of those as a starter (excludes this season).

Heck...Mark Sanchez won 4. 

NOTE:  Fan of Rivers here but "franchise QB" and only 5 playoff-wins in 16-seasons seem to be mutually exclusive...

I think this is just a fun mock and his stock isn’t going to fall in the end. He would, and should, be the first DE off the board and a top ten pick.

It's going to be hard for the Falcons to draft a QB this year honestly. They are in so much win now mode that they almost have to commit to another year of Ryan, Julio etc. 

 

I bet their new coach and GM will be given a pass for next year keeping the same guys. If it doesn't work out they'll be given free lance to blow it all up the year after.

Trask isn’t a statue with a long release. You aren’t watching the games. No, he isn’t a running QB and he isn’t as mobile was Burrow was but he moves around in the pocket just fine and over the last few games he has busted 10+ yard runs in each of them. If he was a statue with a long release he would be sacked more than he was considering the Gator offensive line is god awful.

honestly, while I'm not on board with him in the top 10, IF for instance we got all the way up to like #4, and were able to manage getting Someone like Penei Sewell and Trask in the second round, I think that's as good of a 1-2 as we could ask.
