Joe Person: Taylor Moton not likely to return next year, Curtis Samuel might also leave

Sign Okung and let Moton walk? I will seriously lose my poo who cares how solid a player is if they’re on the sideline half the year because of their body aches - can’t keep up with the younger guys.

Don’t know how much more I can stand of Hurney.

Can’t wait for this to happen only for idiot Hurney to hold another ‘we build through the draft’ interviews cot dammit.

Time for us to start bringing that #FireShula heat again. Marty has got to go.

If there were an organized effort I’m truly down to not give the team a cent of money again until he’s gone. I’m not remotely kidding. The Hornets just gave out an egregious contract and I still have a million times more confidence in their GM right now than ours.

I don’t want to hear a thing about how bad of an owner MJ is anymore. As long as Tepper holds onto Hurney he’s in the running to be just as bad if not worse

I don't want to see him go either, but it's going to be brutal to sign him.  Here's the top 7 RT's (contract wise) right now:

Almost like it's the second most important position in the league and you virtually have zero chance of fielding a successful football team without high quality players at the position. We have one and we're going to let him waltz out the door for absolutely nothing.

It really is frustrating...  whether its the Hornets or the Panthers, our teams are pretty much just farm teams for everyone else.  Any homegrown talent we develop, we rarely ever retain.  And then of course, the few times we strike gold and hit on generational talents in Cam and Luke, we have a coach that runs them into the ground and wastes their talents and abilities so both end up with their primes/careers being prematurely cut short.

If that ain't the truth. Ron Rivera was an absolute joke of a football coach that wouldn't have made it three years at the helm without Cam and Luke. The Hornets actually currently have a coach that prioritizes player development, they just navigated a top three pick perfectly, and I actually think the Hayward deal could look much better in a year or two. People just like dunking on MJ. I think Matt Rhule is actually a good coach, but again, as long as Hurney is in charge I truly think I feel better about the future of the Hornets right now.
