All of this from one source, and that source is Person.  The Baltimore Sun used to break Panther stories before he did at the Observer.

Relax.

Person is actually a lot better source than he gets credit for.

But more to the point, it's really not all from Person. Multiple sources are saying the same thing, including our own highly reliable source, Roaring Riot.

Relax.

I mean

RoaringRiot broke the story

Multiple WFNZ host confirmed this "rumor"

Person asked around and ran a story about this.

You still sitting there thinking we have a shot at signing James Bradberry?

It amazes me how people will bury their head in the sand and try to drown out the noise to hold out some form of hope.

Do you think he is just making this up?

He is speculating based on what he thinks he knows.  There is a difference.  He has to write articles.  That is how he makes his money, but I used to work (when I was in grad school) in the Observer sports department on weekends.  It was before Person was there, but I remained friends with a few--he was an annoyance there, and they did not put much stock in his reporting. One friend (you know his name well if you read the Observer) said that he would get scooped by papers in other states and then write the story as if he broke it.  He even used to read their papers and talk to their writers to find out what they knew about the Panthers.

this organization under new ownership isn't shy about throwing money around. Rhule, big money contract. rumors about Joe Brady getting some good coin to be a coordinator. Teddy $63M. so I don't think this decision would be strictly based on money. it's more of a philosophical decision, seems like. not that that makes me feel better, mind you. just seems totally back-asswards to throw  money at Okung while letting Moton walk. completely and totally back-asswards.

He sings in the choir.  Rarely does he compose his own music.

He spoke on wfnz yesterday

His "speculation" was based on conversations with his sources within the team and around the leage.

Critical thinking is not burying a head in the sand.  He does not know--he is speculating--so why should we accept it without question?

Probably not making it up, but I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled it from here lol.

Honest question cause maybe I'm being ignorant about Person...has he ever broke any news?  Does he actually have solid, reputable sources?  It seems like throughout his entire career, he has had a tendency to piggyback late off others' reporting.

Bingo.  Read my prior post--what they told me from the Observer news room.  He worked hard just was not connected for whatever reason.
