None that I know of.

He's had to change things up along the way but that's the nature of the business. Teams and players change their minds sometimes.

Sports reporters get unfairly criticized sometimes because they expect certain things to happen based on what's going on at the moment, but then that changes. That's just reality though. Stuff happens.

That is my point though.  There is no reason to get up in arms about it now, especially as it was reported on a site or article titled NFL rumors.  In my experience, maybe 1 in 5 of these rumors pan out.  I don't blame reporters for reporting it, that is their job.  But I do think fans tend to overreact.

RR

back at the Combine during Cams interview saying things that made it feel he was back.  Made everyone here get a little excited thinking he was back including the local media.

RR: "Don't read into any of this, less than 30% chance he returns.  All this talk is by our staff is jist trying to drum up a trade."

It was actually reported in The Athletic.

I think NFL Rumors is just one of those sites that pulls info from various sources.

The site NFL rumors says its a rumor because a beat wrtier wrote an article about what he's hearing.   Dont read much into the site name.

He11 if that site aays the Jets plan on taking Trevir Lawerence should we say dont look too much into it?

I always get a kick out of the people that think the Cam decision was a spur of the moment type thing

Also, the CMC draft pick he told me in March that draft year

Gee, do you think maybe they know some of the same people and don’t always put out ALL the info they have to “drum up clicks” or “clickbait”?

"There just drumming up clickbait, no way we let Bradberry walk."

"HA, no Way did we actually try to get Little in the 1st."

I’m trying to figure out how this makes any sense. Are they worried about the cap decreasing? If he’s asking for LT money that’s close to 100 million GB’s LT got with 92 million. That’s a lot but all our dead cap is coming off the books. Are we going to be pursuing FA harder and looking for a bit cheaper option at RT? Signing Okung screams disaster with his age and injury history. I don’t feel like Hurney is making moves alone and they have a plan in place. Taylor was one of the building blocks for me personally.

this is genuinely looking like a 5 year rebuild.

What the tag that he can sign with other teams but they give up a 1st Rd pick? I think that's what we do because we don't know the cap. It's a little lower than the tag and it could help us set the market that if he doesn't get blown away with offers, maybe he'll sign a good deal to stay. I want him to stay.

This isn't totally wrong - absolutely things could change. It is December 4th, afterall (I think).

What's concerning is that if this is the talk/thought now - and it seems like a lot of people covering the team have gotten this info - then that means there's a reason they don't want to sign him. And if that's the case....what changes their minds? It's not like he needs to prove if he's a top OL - he's already shown he's elite. Hell, it was obvious last year that he was on his way to elite so they should have done it then if they were going to. This would make me think that spending top money on OL isn't part of their plan. Which is......F!

Maybe because he's a RT and not a LT?

But that is crazy to me. IMO it doesn't matter what side your elite OL is on, you just need one. Then you can plan and scheme protection towards your weakness.

Fua and I were talking about it the other day.....paying $6-$7M to Samuel as a WR3 and not $14-$15M to Moton is going to be wild.

From what I've read, it seems to be just the age old story of Player thinks he's worth X while Team think he's worth Y.

He broke all this the other day

Imagine thinking he broke it when it’s been common sense thinking ever since Hurney didn’t extend either before the season.

All these “insiders” sure have such big scoops that fans have pointed out for months

That fact that you still make these posts after all the poo you talked about the Cam situation tells me everything I need to know about you.
