Nice. I'll be back on this. Not the quality of acting, dialogue or writing that I prefer, but it is a step up from the original, and has some pretty solid plot devices.

I just wish ABC would stop killing the shows that have great writing and performing.

I watched the first few episodes and it got so bad I couldn't watch anymore..maybe it's just me.

Yeah, I couldn't exactly recommend it to anyone, and I most likely would not be watching if I weren't a fan of the original.

Really, I thought the show was good. I give up on a show pretty quickly..."Flashforward" stopped watching that boring piece of crap by ep.4. "Lost" 15 minutes.

I couldn't make it past the first 15 minutes of Lost either, but at least it has some character. Way more than most cookie cutter network dramas.

Most everyone I know that watches it, hates it, but can't stop watching it.

Oh well. They can't all be Dexter. Holy mother of fug what a show.

Anyway. Back to V. The only truly redeeming value I've taken out of it is they're at least making an attempt to be plausible in their delivery. They're not doing the best job they could of keying in on the gritty details of what the reality of that situation would be, but they do what they can within the confinements of network television.

V would be so much better on just about any cable network like FX, or especially better on something like HBO or Showtime. It could be amazing on one of those two networks.

Oh well. At least they didn't sodomize it and leave it for dead in a ditch. I'll keep watching to see how the season goes.

As long as the aliens are gonna ship us off for food, it should be worth watching.

I'm interested in seeing how they handle Jennifer's transformation, if they even reuse that material.

I remember the original alien baby birth being a pretty major event in television history at the time.

I'm gonna watch it, so we'll see... if it follows the recent TV trend however, I'm not hopeful.

Of course if it's good, and I watch and like it... it'll get cancelled.

Its network television, so there's definitely a limit to how good it can be.

But there is no limit to how bad it can suck.
