You’re off by 20+. They can only beat who they have played. The only teams that can be in the conversation with them already are. Two loss Georgia? Two loss Oklahoma? BYU? Coastal Carolina? Cincinnati? Absolutely not. It’s just Florida, Texas AM, Clemson, Notre Dame and Alabama. They have a win over a top 10 team in Indiana at the time. Clemson or Notre Dame will get a loss. Florida or Bama will get a loss clearing things up a bit. And you’re going off hypotheticals. OSU is playing a fifth game today. They only need 6 to qualify and the group who determines the top 4 already has them in. It’s a vote. So the overwhelming majority of voters believe OSU is one of the top four teams in the country.

If any major conference produces an undefeated team they tend to go in the top 4. You can argue it how you want but how many undefeated teams are in college football now? OSU is one and in two weeks if they can’t play Michigan they will play somebody else and get to 6 wins and then go with the championship and have 7 wins. They will be in the top four.

A two loss Oklahoma should be if they win out and look pretty doing it. A few things. One of only two teams in the top 20 in both offense and defense. And secondly, they’ll avenge one of their losses in Iowa State. Shrugs.

Two losses is hard to argue should be in. Who were their losses to?

Iowa State and Kansas State, neither of which are really good teams as Iowa State is way overrated, and Oklahoma is too.

Georgia is by far the best two loss team in the country now that JT Daniel's is playing QB, they would beat the brakes off Iowa State or Oklahoma.

Lol. No they wouldn’t they would get torched because OU has an offense. Unlike the majority of the teams Georgia faces in the SEC. stop it dude. They face two top 20 offenses and get murdered. Play outside the top 50 in offense and look great.

Kansas State at the beginning of the year, and they will avenge the second loss to Iowa State. So one loss. That’s what they kept saying was the reason OU was solidly in the top 4 with Murray that year they lost to Texas then beat Texas to make the Playoff. Shrugs.

What was the score the last two times OK played an SEC team?

So, OU faces two great SEC teams they just suck vs the SEC? The last two times before OU played LSU and Bama they beat Tennessee and Auburn in the Sugar Bowl. And kept it really close vs a Georgia team that’s way better than this one. So......

Yeah, it’s bad you guys don’t watch CFB. Herbstreit is saying they’re one of the better teams. Brady Quinn too, saying they’re playing like a top 4 team on defense. Sigh.

I am so glad that two guys agree with you. And I want to here the case for a 2 loss team that lost at home to what’s about to be a 4-6 team.

Total offense rank means nothing when no one plays defense. Which is proven when OK steps outside the comfort zone.

And 8-4 Auburn team that lost its QB in the first qtr. And TN has sucked for over a decade.
