You didn't miss much in the ND game. First two drives were great but after that DN's DL just manhandled UNC's OL. They were getting pressure immediately rushing four and sometimes only three. Howell didn't have a fighting chance.

His pocket awareness worries me. Hopefully that improves with an improved O-Line next year.

Not me. There was no pocket in that game and we have to have him take chances and hang in there to have a chance. In a situation where he had a defense to lean on I don't think he'd have to be so hell-bent on making a play. Sack or throwaway is the same with that D. Punting equals losing.

He has looked really bad this year. I thought he was going to emulate Hurts and Mayfield, but he hasn't.

Yeah, no. You haven't watched him recently. He's been damn good, vs Okie State he had 5 TD's, 0 picks and over 300 yards. Very efficient. You clearly watched the Iowa State and Kansas State games and that's it. He's a RS Freshman. Give him time FFS.

Na, that Virginia game he stood in the pocket too long too. He's been sacked/hit more than any QB in the NCAA the past two years sans the shitty QB in Syracuse.

If you watched that UVA game you saw them scoring on every drive. That's my point. He knows he has to score every drive. Throwing the ball away isn't an option. That defense is awful.

They weren't awful the other day for once, and they couldn't get anything going. Hopefully he bounces back vs Miami.

Well then if he has an opportunity to play in an All Star game, he should probably take it.

Are they even having those games this year though? Do we know yet?

As of now the Senior Bowl is still on, invites are being sent out and Jim Nagy is beginning his yearly hype of the event on Twitter.

NFLPA Bowl is canceled, but the NFLPA planning something virtual to allow for selected players to interact with scouts.

2021 East-West Shrine Game is also canceled. No word on them doing anything similar to the NFLPA.

You think PJ is our answer?

Yes. Draft a QB from college and that's a 50/50 chance he clicks with the team. Or he gets benched like Tua. When in a rebuild, I dont like those odds. Pj walker is RIGHT THERE and makes all the sense in the world. Besides, we need a linebacker, not a QB.

There was nothing there. It could've been Lawrence out there or Mahomes or Rodgers. It would've looked the same. Their DL >>> UNC's OL and their DC >>>> UNC's OC.
