Trey Lance and Carson Wentz are completely different QBs in every way imaginable.  Wentz was a lot better passer coming out too.

NDSU didn’t even want Lance throwing during their National Chanpionship game last year. That said a lot to me.

I am not completely writing him off, but to not recognize his current play would not be smart either. I have not been impressed with him for a few years now, it's not like he has been on a team without talent.

But what you are describing has less to do with him than your perception of him.

He wasn’t two weeks ago. This has to be a troll account.

2 weeks ago when we won? When we saw the offense click on all cylinders for the FIRST TIME? when we saw the defense play with some consistency? naw fam, the argument that PJ walker will not be able to play at the NFL level is over. Come with something new.

Here's what I'd do if I was Rhule: I'd sit down with TB and say, "Look, we didn't have a pre-season this year and we need to figure out what we've got. You've been banged up a bit, so we're gonna split some time between PJ and Will these last four games so we can do some proper evaluation. This is not a demotion, we just don't want you to go down with anything serious on the back end of a season where we are sitting at home in January. Sure, we're still mathematically alive for the playoffs, but you gotta know that is a very unlikely shot. And we need serious film on PJ and Will against top-flight competition."

I'd basically say the same thing to CMC, though only to stress the lessening of his workload. I wouldn't sit him for the rest of the season.

A poster with some sense.

I very seriously doubt Walker is the answer but I'd like to see him get a legit chance to show what he can or can't do when preparing as the starter. I think he may stand a chance to become a legit NFL backup. That's not what we're looking for as a fanbase, but for him as an individual that's not a bad gig at all.

You are talking about an offense clicking on all cylinders when we threw two red zone interceptions? That’s not clicking. PJ also fumbled but we didn’t lose it. Our running backs averaged less than 4 yards per carry. That isn’t all phases clicking. It’s like you are making stuff up. 1 touchdown, 2 interceptions in the red zone and a fumble and to you that means he can be an nfl starter?

Oregon didn't want Herbert throwing in key situations either. In hindsight that looks really dumb.

That’s very different than having your QB throw 10 or less passes in the biggest game of the year and ask him to run it 30 times.

We are on the same page with that.

We all watched the same game bruh. The energy was different, the offense was faster, curtis, dj, and robby all got equal touches. That's called ball distribution, GOOD QBs know how to do that. you are picking and choosing certain parts to fit your argument, but film doesnt lie. Pj Walker plays and looks better than Teddy does. Sorry.
