Coach quote in the link above: If he’s healthy, he’s the guy”.

But keep telling yourself he isn’t injured. And “business decisions” isn’t a valid reason to not start PJ. It makes way better business for you to have a player making little money perform like a starter. He threw two red zone interceptions in his lone start. He has a negative touchdown to interception ratio. I was actively rooting for him in the game day thread. But he hasn’t shown anything this far that would make you believe he is NFL Starting QB long term material.

And neither has any of these college rookies...but you want them to start anyway, make it make sense. You have XFL footage and college footage. Pj walker is more than ready.

Nice to have you on the Huddle PJ. I'd like to see you get a couple more starts this season and see if you can't clean up those Wtf redzone picks. Overall I was pretty impressed with your 1st start.

I'd like to see him start too.

Here's what I'd do if I was Rhule: I'd sit down with TB and say, "Look, we didn't have a pre-season this year and we need to figure out what we've got. You've been banged up a bit, so we're gonna split some time between PJ and Will these last four games so we can do some proper evaluation. This is not a demotion, we just don't want you to go down with anything serious on the back end of a season where we are sitting at home in January. Sure, we're still mathematically alive for the playoffs, but you gotta know that is a very unlikely shot. And we need serious film on PJ and Will against top-flight competition."

I'd basically say the same thing to CMC, though only to stress the lessening of his workload. I wouldn't sit him for the rest of the season.

He wasn’t two weeks ago. This has to be a troll account.

Z. Wilson will be in Conway South Carolina Saturday, and I will be there to watch. My daughter attends Coastal Carolina, and we have tickets to the scheduled Coastal versus Liberty game on Saturday. Due to a virus outbreak at Liberty they want be able to play. Coastal searched for another opponent, and was able to get BYU to come play. This is a matchup of two undefeated top 15 teams in the country, and better yet I get to see Wilson in person.

Wilson has a quick release ,nice speed , tre lance I’m on the fence kid is either going to be the next Lamar Jackson or a huge bust . I’m not a man of risks I’ll take Wilson

Obviously their arm slot is different, but Wilson reminds me of Joe Burrow a lot when I watch him play. As you said, a quick releas and nice ability to scramble, but he also has really good accuracy and goes through progressions and often throws to his 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th options.

As for Lance, I can definitely see the hype on the kid as he has a lot of tools and potential. For me, it may not be a fair comparison, but I look at Carson Wentz. A kid from the very same NDSU program dominating that level of football on a loaded team for that level of football. Wentz had all the same hype and tools, was picked #2 overall, and I have never been impressed with him.  I guess if you follow the NBA or the Hornets at all, it is kinda like Vernon Carey Jr.  Carey in years past could have been a top 20 pick, but due to Jahlil Okafor from Duke flopping in the NBA, Carey being from Duke and playing the same position slid way down the draft board, and ended up a 2nd round pick.

Wentz was definitely impressive before his rash of injuries. He was a legit MVP candidate before he went down their SB year.

He looked good, but the team had no drop off when Foles stepped in, and many people think the team played better with Foles.

This is his first bad season. He's been pretty damn good outside of his rookie season. The injuries may have ruined him but I think completely writing him off right now would be a bit premature.

I am not completely writing him off, but to not recognize his current play would not be smart either. I have not been impressed with him for a few years now, it's not like he has been on a team without talent.
