Its just a dumb hot take.  The kid has zero negatives.  He has lost one game in 3 years.  He has a football prodigy brain inside a custom made football body.    He literally has no weaknesses

I don't do hot takes.

When I watch him, I see a guy who's a great college quarterback but who I'm not sure will be a great pro quarterback.

We'll see.

One day people will finally realize that there's no such thing as a sure thing in the NFL draft. Definitely not today, but one day.

He can bring #89 from this video with him. His spirit is so #89 in that clip. First of all he looks like he's 5'9"(maybe 5'10") and has longer arms and high points the ball over the CB like #89 AND gets up like #89 would. Flashbacks

That’s what I am saying more than likely trask will not go in the first round draft putts then take him in the top of the 2nd round then go center and offensive line the rest of the draft

Is Marty still gonna be here? Because that's shaping up to be a classic Hurney 2nd rounder.

None. As soon as they can, put in PJ walker, 1 who knows the playbook, 1 who is athletically gifted, 1 who ALREADY had chemistry with the team as well as the coach. 1 who is CHEAP.

Do yall know football?

Nice to have you on the Huddle PJ. I'd like to see you get a couple more starts this season and see if you can't clean up those Wtf redzone picks. Overall I was pretty impressed with your 1st start.

Pj walker is more than capable, but because of BUSINESS reasons, the panthers might make a dumb decision. And Tua is not hurt, he got benched.

Coach quote in the link above: If he’s healthy, he’s the guy”.

But keep telling yourself he isn’t injured. And “business decisions” isn’t a valid reason to not start PJ. It makes way better business for you to have a player making little money perform like a starter. He threw two red zone interceptions in his lone start. He has a negative touchdown to interception ratio. I was actively rooting for him in the game day thread. But he hasn’t shown anything this far that would make you believe he is NFL Starting QB long term material.

Yeah, I would welcome seeing Walker get a legit opportunity down the stretch but I'm not gonna sit her and pretend like I think he's the answer. It's just that Teddy isn't so why not get a look at Walker?

That’s valid thinking and I support it.

Sure thing qb prospects over the years.  Elway, Manning, Luck, Trevor.

His floor is the playoffs

It's easy to say someone was a "sure thing" after the fact. Trevor is a great prospect but it won't be a shock in the least if he disappoints, especially on the Jets. It'll be a big shock for him when his team's backups aren't better than the other team's starters. The situation will pretty much get reversed.

Trevor has all the tools and ability to be great. If the team that drafts him gets talent around him, the only thing that will get in his way is injuries. However, the Jets will draft him and put no talent around him and make him look like a bust. Watch a team like the Pats pluck Darnold from them for a 3rd rounder and win a Super Bowl with him.

I had a dream, I had a dream that Penei Sewell and Wilson were available at our pick. We drafted Sewell, and feeling we would be solid next year, we then traded back into the first round at pick 15 to take a falling Wilson. For the 15th pick we trade next years first and second, this years 2nd, and 4th.

We don’t regret it, even tho we go on to have a poo 2021, Wilson and the D finish out 2021 strong, we won the SB in 2022.
