Update: Moore's injury might not have been as bad as it looked

I know the doctors give the OK one way or another on whether a player is good to go or not.  Moores's injury looked scary and I initially thought it might be an ACL the way he came down on it. Then he was holding the back of his leg and I thought he pulled something or the Achilles.  If he is healthy you play him,

As far as CMC  is concerned I don't really know the extend of the injury.  I know we had several "I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express" doctors on this forum with many different views on the injury.  I'll have to go with the team doctors.  If he is available to play than it would be up to Rhule.

I am not one to suggest players sit out for the remainder of the season because the season is lost.  I am one to suggest that they should be 100% sure that he is not going to suffer the same injury again.  If they aren't sure than I would sit him.

They know of a guy has torn an ACL or an Achilles within moments. There are simple specific tests the trainer does and they know immediately.

An ACL can be less noticeable than an Achilles (I seem to remember Kris Jenkins playing an entire series after his tear) you know immediately when it's an Achilles no amount of coach talk/hyperbole would make it possible to play.

Most tests are sensitive if a tear is significant enough but you’re not always going to get a true positive, especially when a positive sign is reproduction of pain. That’s when false positives abound.
