Rudolph isn't the only one wide open either

I wasn't a fan of the conservative playcalling but what can you do when you have 3 guys watching the underneath route and a CB hesitating and getting burned on the other side of the field

That's just bad execution, seriously wtf?

I’m guessing if we zoomed out a bit more there’s a safety just above the WR circled.

Whoever it was had no chance to cover both the WR and Rudolph at that point

Actually I'm pretty amused at the suggestion that I'm defending Teddy. But again, I know why you see it that way.

Now with that said, there's plenty of Bridgewater conversation going on. Why bring it here?

It was a joke. It wasn't meant to be a conversation. You've made it a conversation.

Ah, maybe that's it then. I just don't get why the corner under him hesitated. Maybe he was worried about the QB running?

There would be no criticizing the staffs clock management, only praising how wr were actually aggressive which our fan base cried for under Rivera.

Yep the plays were there to be had, the players just didn’t execute. Can’t believe I’m uttering those words but it’s true.

I really didn’t have an issue with the coaching. I liked the play call on 3rd down and the play was there. Had we ran it and took off another 40 seconds instead the Vikings still would’ve scored their touchdown. I would’ve been cool had they chose to pass on 2nd down as well.

This is why I have a tough time putting much of the blame on the coaching staff.

We lack talent in a lot of important areas (which everyone knew prior to the season), coaching can only overcome so much. We’ve seen guys blow assignments multiple times this season.

Snow has been put into a tough spot given the talent he has to work with.

Agree on snow. We’ve got 4 rookies plus Shaq, Boston, Burris, Elder, Carter and UDFAs at DT. Let’s be honest, the D was playing stellar for 7 quarters with a +4 point differential. They gave up 18 in the 4th quarter which was rough but let’s not act like we have a lot of 2020 talent. The rookies will get better but they are rookies. Burns right now is likely our only well above average player. The fact that we aren’t dead last is saying something.

So I just looked and it was Chinn that was back there and came up to make the tackle on Rudolph.

He was caught in no mans land with both guys running free. He played it safe and made the tackle instead of giving up 6.

I think the problem was that the corner at the top of the screen gets beat of the line so badly that it forced that safety to stay over top of him.
