You're pulling out a stat without looking at the context. And again, this is why I don't go by stats because you can skew stats to say pretty much whatever you want.

I'll ask the question again: Was the guy you saw yesterday the same player you saw in the early weeks?

Honestly Mr. Scot, have you ever lost an argument in your life?

You literally dismiss any fact brought to the table.  Your argument boils down to, "agree with me, and if you don't agree with me, then I know you don't know what you are watching."

Teddy has more TDs in his last 5 games than he did in his first 6.  He has fewer picks.  Higher QB rating.  About the same CMP%.  Offense is about the same productivity wise.  That's our argument for Teddy being the same guy now as he was in Week 1.  What's your argument against that, other than your own speculation?

I mean give us something based in reality.  Something quantifiable.  Just give us something.  What about Teddy is worse now than it was in Week 1?  He's missed passes deep all year.  His pocket presence has been shaky all year.  He runs the ball about the same.  He still makes boneheaded passes into coverage (coulda been picked off multiple times in Arizona game). He's the same mediocre Teddy.  But we're delusional.  So give us something in reality that shows how Teddy is so much worse now than he was in Week 1, to the point where if we disagree with that, we're delusional.

Yeah, you literally tried to skew the stats to make them say what you wanted. I literally just gave a tale of two halves.

And, yes, he was the same player I have seen the whole fuging year. You think he hasn't whiffed on passes? You think he hasn't thrown boneheaded INT's(remember Tampa)? He's already had a similar stat line for an outing against Chicago in Week 6. There was nothing wrong WITH him, he just poo the bed. He's done it five times over the course of 11 games. That is way, way, way, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many for a "game managing" QB. The entire purpose is that you AREN'T the one that fugs it up for the team but he has done that far too often this season.

@Mr. Scot Basically this. You are giving us a bunch of "gut feelings" with almost no supporting evidence. No film, no stats, not even any reasonable anecdotal evidence to support this idea that he is "wearing down" over the course of this season.

Furthermore, where in the hell would this wear come from? He's been sacked the least he ever has in his career, including New Orleans and his rushing attempts per game are close to his career averages.

Want Mr Scot shaming posters for being sad about Cam by shoving stats down our throats from when Cam was hurt but now making excuses for Teddy B based on “gut feelings”. This place hasn’t changed one bit

At what point did I refer to stats?

And no, the guy that played yesterday wasn't the same guy we've seen all year. Every player has bad plays in every game. Yesterday was a fully bad performance except for a few spots, and this time it wasn't against a great defense.

Same thing as with any analysis. I'm using my eyes and what I know of the game.

Stats in football are two subjective. There's a million variables on every one of them. That's why I don't trust them.

I see what I see and I say what I see. You can take my opinion or not. Doesn't really matter to me, but what I see with the Bridgewater discussion is a whole lot of emotion and very little objective analysis.

People demand that you say everything about him is bad, and even allowing for other factors seems to drive people to emotional outbursts.

But hey, we're talking about a quarterback so why should I be surprised?

Uuuuhhh...yeah.

I'm not sure who you're talking about, but it's not me. If you think I'm shoving stats about anything down people's throats, you're way off.

You might notice though that from week 8 onward, the average is lower minus week 9 when we went with a pretty brilliant game plan against the Chiefs.

This is literally your quote where you try to skew the averages by removing Week 9. Hence my comments and that is DIRECTLY referring to the stats that I posted.

Do you seriously not remember him being 100% responsible for the loss to Tampa Bay in Week 2? Do you not remember him being in a large part responsible for the loss in Week 6 versus Chicago? You can shuck and jive all you want but you can't avoid the truth. He has been bad in multiple games this year. He has in fact been WORSE than yesterday.

Stats like this are not subjective, I know you love to disparage stats and "go with the eyes and gut" but your eyes are literally not telling you a factual story. Much like the human brain isn't reliable when it comes to memory. If you don't believe me, go watch the All-22 of the first Tampa game, the Chicago game and then the game yesterday. I promise you that what those stats are saying is evidenced by what you will largely see on the field, WHEN YOU REMOVE THE EMOTION FROM IT.

You can't call people delusional and have this pretentious, holier-than-thou attitude when you can't even sum of what it is you are even talking about.  You say throw out stats.  Okay then.  Tell us what you see on film.  What throws is he making any worse now than he did in Week 1?  Give us an example.

Or don't.  That's cool too.  But if so, don't go trying to belittle other posters or call people delusional.

But it's crazy too.  Cause now you are pulling the "opinion" card.  "Oh, it's just my opinion."  But dude, you were just calling us delusional on the other page if we disagreed with you.  As if it what you were saying was a fact.  Now it's not?  Like come on now.

It is, kind of, like, you know, my opinion man.

That's sort of what a discussion board is about.

And for the record, not everybody who disagrees with me is off in their thinking, but I do tend to call out the ones who are.

To answer that with a yes would be delusional, but I know there are some who will because that's their thing.

But the answer is no, and the wear and tear of the season is one of the reasons.

Yeah, you definitely phrased that as merely an opinion.

I responded to you referring to stats. I didn't refer to stats, and I don't because in football they're too subjective. Yes, even the ones you posted here.

Take for example the fact that his worst performances before now were against very good defenses. Yesterday, we weren't facing a good defense.

You don't think this matters?

It was not like Brady drew up a new play in the sand. Teddy knew where the routes were going. Teddy panicked because he could not go through his 20 seconds worth of checks. That was a wide open pass & he can only point the finger to himself.

His presnap reads & checks have really become annoying. He continuously snaps the ball at 00 seconds on the clock & still makes the wrong read or audible.

Snapping the ball that late does not help the oline because the defense can fire off based on the time left on the clock.

I think I have seen enough of Teddy, especially if he cannot take blame for that last pass.
