Do you give a sh*t about the rest of the season?

Here we are, another meaningless end to a Panthers season. Make it 3 bullshit seasons in a row, and 8 out of the last 11 seasons ending in a losing record (yea I know they’ve only lost 8 games as of now but we all know this team has more losses in them)

Anyone still care at all? Today broke me. I really can’t keep hoping this team wins. I hope they lose the rest of their games in blowouts like they did at the end of 2019 to get a high draft pick to get a new QB. I hope they fire Teddy Bridgewater into the sun and let Will Grier throw passes to nobody so we definitely lose the rest of our games.

Yes of course. This season was never going to be any good. I enjoy watching our coaching, and the development of our outstanding rookie class. The future is bright, bro, look at the big picture. We need a franchise QB, and that will work itself out.

I’ve enjoyed watching them all season. Not surprised how this season has gone, well I thought we’d be doing worse... so yeah, I’ll continue watching. It’s fun to watch a team grow. Here is to year one.

we’ve done this roster reset thing once per decade, and we are starting a new one now.

So tell me your plan of this franchise QB and how to obtain such....

The coaching will probably get better with time and experience as will the younger end of the roster, I am not sure some of the older players will get better with time though.. Having said this the roster turnover in the off-season will tell us a lot about what to expect next year and onwards.

This thing called the  NFL Draft. Perhaps you’ve heard of it? We’re going to have a pretty high pick in this next one. Lots of very good QBs coming out.

I offer this advice honestly and without snark.

Find something else to be emotionally invested in on Sundays.

Its a game that you have ZERO impact or influence in its outcome regardless of how many superstitions you keep up.

Its clear that its causing you stress.  Let it go.

I care that the Panthers lose the rest of their games this season in hopes that they are in a position to find a franchise QB. Without a franchise QB mediocrity and worse will continue to be the hallmark of this team. I hate being in this position but denial will not change reality. The reality is that the Panthers can win by losing and lose by winning. The other reality is that this was all predictable and, in fact, was predicted on this board right after the signing of Bridgewater and extension for McCaffrey. This would have been the perfect season to go with youth, struggle, save cap space for the coming decrease, and then build for the future.

What might have been.....what should have been.....and what was......
