Seriously, it's time to give Walker an honest look

Trubisky needs to be a Panther next season. He is about to light up the packs tonight!

I said after we signed Bridgewater and cut Cam that we should've given Chicago a call. Trubisky probably isn't the answer, but we wouldn't have had to give him a $63M contract and he's played in the past at a higher level than Teddy ever had. We could've probably gotten him via trade and kicked the tires on him for a season.

If people disagree with that, honestly I understand. But hindsight being 20/20, the one thing that absolutely looks like a huge mistake right now is giving Teddy Bridgewater that contract. We would've been better off doing nothing at all and sticking with Kyle Allen on the dirt cheap.

Any head coach who would factor that into a depth chart decision would deserve to be fired.

Not if "fun to watch" translates to "more talented".

Honestly, I think Walker's better mobility, better arm, and willingness to throw the ball more than five yards down the field on more than just the rare occasion would give us a better overall look at the offense as a whole anyway.

I’m on record MANY times for saying we should have kept Kyle Allen over giving Bridgewater a 62m 3 yr contract. Dude is zero percent better than Allen for 60x the price tag. What a waste of money.

More physically talented? Maybe.

Better quarterback? Doubt it.

Any sort of answer? Seriously doubt it.

Come on, man...

Teddy's 3-8 as the starter. We scored 10 points today as an offense. The defense literally outscored the offense. That was against the #26 scoring defense in the NFL. That's just reality.

Had Jeremy Chinn not given us two defensive TDs maybe people would be able to see our offensive "production" with more clarity.

Which proves that PJ Walker is better... how exactly?

Teddy was already talking with Chicago and was reported to specifically not go there because he didn't want a competition. Wouldn't be surprised if there was some talk about that and potential trade scenarios with Carolina.

We're still officially in the playoff race even if realistically we're not.

Under those circumstances, you start the best quarterback on the roster.

That's not Walker.

I don't know that I completely believe that anymore. On paper Teddy is better. I can't say that I believe he gives us the best chance to win, however.
