Draft Pick Update: #6

We’re going to beat Denver. They’re just as bad as Detroit.

Atlanta has the Chargers left and that’s about it in terms of wins.

There are so many teams at 4-7 that we’re only listed at 6 because we have an 8th loss.

I expect us to be picking somewhere between 8-12

I think it's OK if the coaches are 100% on Fields. If not I agree.

Fields would have to wow them during the interview process and prove that he understands coverages.

There’s no debating his talent, he’s got all the tools but his decision making and recognition is very questionable at times

I don't watch much college ball but I see his gaudy stats. Sadly I do believe it would take that much to get up there.

I think this team is on the right track in terms of building a competitive team. I’d hate to see us trade away our 1st next year. I don’t think we’re in a position to do that just yet. Maybe next year if we fell in love with Howell?

It’ll be very interesting to see what direction we go with our 1st rounder this year. Given our needs and what positions some of these top prospects play...

Can't dispute any of that. I think Rhule really runs the show at this point and not Marty. I'll follow him for another year before my haunches are raised.

Just perusing the others' schedules:

Cowboys have a Giants & Eagles game left, let them all beat eachother up to have ~5+ wins for all of them

Giants-Browns & Giants-AZ (Browns barely beat Jax, that's winnable, AZ is inconsistent, also winnable IMO)

Chargers have the Pats, Broncos, Raiders, & Falcons on deck, all winnable IMO

Lions have the Bears & Vikes as winnable (Hard to see them lose out with Patty-fats gone and Stafford wanting to keep at it)

WFT has the 49ers, us and the Eagles

Atlanta is playing to screw people up now with Quinn gone, they could play spoiler to Taysom Hill and have the Bucs twice.

If we indeed fall apart, I can realistically see a 5-11 getting us up to pick #5/6

1. NYJ

2. CIN

3. JAX

4. The least of the NFCE

5. CAR
